The Attorney General must provide a qualifying state's grant increase for a 2-year period. The Attorney General can't give a state this increase more than 4 times total.
(a) In general: The Attorney General must provide a state's increase under the covered formula grants for a period of 2 years.
(b) Limit: The Attorney General can't give a state more than 4 increases total under this chapter.
The Attorney General shall provide an increase in the amount provided to a State under the covered formula grants under this chapter for a 2-year period.
The Attorney General may not provide an increase in the amount provided to a State under the covered formula grants under this chapter more than 4 times.
