This section lists this corporation's purposes. It runs a national memorial and museum honoring Jewish Americans' military service and sacrifice during wartime. It also gathers and publishes war records, and works to build patriotism through military history study.
The corporation's purposes are: (1) to run a national memorial and museum honoring and remembering the service and sacrifice of Americans of the Jewish faith in the Armed Forces during wartime; (2) to gather, arrange, edit, publish, and display memorabilia, information, records, military awards, decorations, citations, and similar items, to preserve the memory of patriotic service by Jewish men and women in the Armed Forces during wartime; and (3) to build patriotism in all Americans by encouraging the study of U.S. military and naval history.
The purposes of the corporation are—
to maintain and conduct a national memorial and museum dedicated to and commemorating the service and sacrifice by Americans of the Jewish faith in the Armed Forces of the United States during the period of war;
to gather, collate, edit, publish, and exhibit memorabilia, information, records, military awards, decorations, citations, and similar items, to preserve the memories and records of patriotic service performed by men and women of the Jewish faith while in the Armed Forces of the United States in time of war; and
to stimulate patriotism in the minds of all Americans by encouraging the study of the military and naval history of the United States.
