36 U.S.C. § 130301 — Organization

(a) Federal Charter. Congress gives a federal charter to the Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated, called "the corporation" in this chapter. (b) Place of Incorporation and Domicile. The corporation is declared incorporated and domiciled in the District of Columbia. (c) Perpetual Existence. Unless this chapter says otherwise, the corporation has perpetual existence. (d) References to Army and Navy Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated. Wherever another law refers to the "Army and Navy Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated," that reference now means the Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated.
