The Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated, is federally chartered, incorporated and domiciled in the District of Columbia, and generally exists indefinitely. References to its former name mean the current name.
(a) Federal charter.—The Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated (called “the corporation” in this chapter) is federally chartered. (b) Incorporation and domicile.—The corporation is incorporated and domiciled in the District of Columbia. (c) Perpetual existence.—Unless another rule applies, the corporation exists indefinitely. (d) Former name.—A reference to the Army and Navy Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated, means the Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated.
Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated (in this chapter, the “corporation”), is a federally chartered corporation.
The corporation is declared to be incorporated and domiciled in the District of Columbia.
Except as otherwise provided, the corporation has perpetual existence.
Any reference to the Army and Navy Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated, is deemed to refer to the Legion of Valor of the United States of America, Incorporated.
