American Gold Star Mothers, Incorporated, a District of Columbia nonprofit, becomes a federally chartered corporation under this law. If it breaks any rule in this chapter, its federal charter ends.
(a) Federal Charter: American Gold Star Mothers, Incorporated, called "the corporation" in this chapter, is incorporated in the District of Columbia. This chapter gives it a federal charter.
(b) Expiration of Charter: If the corporation fails to follow any rule in this chapter, its federal charter ends automatically.
American Gold Star Mothers, Incorporated (in this chapter, the “corporation”), incorporated in the District of Columbia, is a federally chartered corporation.
If the corporation does not comply with any provision of this chapter, the charter granted by this chapter expires.
