This section federally establishes the General Federation of Women’s Clubs as a District of Columbia corporation with perpetual existence unless an exception applies.
(a) Federal Charter. The General Federation of Women’s Clubs, called the “corporation” in this chapter, is a body corporate and political entity of the District of Columbia.
(b) Perpetual Existence. Unless otherwise provided, the corporation exists permanently.
General Federation of Women’s Clubs (in this chapter, the “corporation”) is a body corporate and politic of the District of Columbia.
Except as otherwise provided, the corporation has perpetual existence.
