This section defines three words used in this Act. "Department" means the Department of Energy, and "Secretary" means the Secretary of Energy. "Institution of higher education" has the same meaning given in another federal education law.
This section gives the meaning of three words used throughout this Act.
(1) Department. "Department" means the Department of Energy.
(2) Institution of higher education. "Institution of higher education" has the same meaning given to that term in section 1001(a) of title 20 — a different part of federal law that this section does not repeat.
(3) Secretary. "Secretary" means the Secretary of Energy.
In this Act:
The term “Department” means the Department of Energy.
The term “institution of higher education” has the meaning given the term in section 1001(a) of title 20.
The term “Secretary” means the Secretary of Energy.
