The Director must build an online resource on the Foundation's website. It gives colleges and researchers current information on research security. This includes guidance on risks, examples of safe international teamwork, and tools for disclosing information.
The Director* must create an online resource on the Foundation's website, kept up to date and written for both institutions and individual researchers. It must include: an explanation of the Foundation's research security policies; unclassified guidance on security risks that threaten research integrity and other risks to research; examples of good international collaborations and how they differ from foreign government interference that threatens research integrity; best practices* for reducing security risks that threaten research integrity; and other reference materials, including tools to help organizations seeking Foundation funding and current award recipients disclose information to the Foundation.
The Director* shall develop an online resource hosted on the Foundation’s website containing up-to-date information, tailored for institutions and individual researchers, including—
an explanation of Foundation research security policies;
unclassified guidance on potential security risks that threaten research integrity and other risks to the research enterprise;
examples of beneficial international collaborations and how such collaborations differ from foreign government interference efforts that threaten research integrity;
best practices* for mitigating security risks that threaten research integrity; and
additional reference materials, including tools that assist organizations seeking Foundation funding and awardees in information disclosure to the Foundation.
