Government Publishing Office employees can't be sent to work at other agencies. This rule applies unless their new duties involve public printing or binding. A specific law must authorize any exception.
An employee of the Government Publishing Office cannot be sent to work at another executive department or government establishment on duties unrelated to public printing and binding. This can only happen if a law specifically allows it.
An employee of the Government Publishing Office may not be detailed to duties not pertaining to the work of public printing and binding in an executive department or other Government establishment unless expressly authorized by law.
