The Secretary must partner with colleges and universities, including land grant schools, and with other government agencies. Together they set up cooperative study units that research park resources and the wider regions around parks.
The Secretary* must make cooperative agreements with colleges and universities, including land grant schools. These agreements are made in partnership with other federal and state agencies. Together, they set up cooperative study units. These units do research that draws on multiple fields and create combined information products about System* resources — or about the larger region that a System unit* is part of.
The Secretary* shall enter into cooperative agreements with colleges and universities, including land grant schools, in partnership with other Federal and State agencies, to establish cooperative study units to conduct multi-disciplinary research and develop integrated information products on the resources of the System*, or the larger region of which System units are a part.
