The Secretary must build a full training program for Park Service employees in every professional career field. The goal is to keep the workforce's knowledge and skills current for managing and protecting park resources.
The Secretary* must develop a comprehensive training program. This program must cover employees in all professional careers across the Service's workforce. Its purpose is to make sure the workforce has the best, most up-to-date knowledge, skills, and abilities available — so employees can manage, interpret, and protect the resources of the National Park System*.
The Secretary* shall develop a comprehensive training program for employees in all professional careers in the workforce of the Service* for the purpose of ensuring that the workforce has available the best up-to-date knowledge, skills, and abilities with which to manage, interpret, and protect the resources of the System*.
