The Secretary must make full use of the Park Service's existing preservation centers and regional offices. The Secretary must also improve how these centers and offices work together. They must coordinate with the National Center for Preservation Technology and Training and other groups when appropriate.
To make better use of the National Park Service's existing resources, the Secretary* must fully use and keep developing the Service's preservation* and conservation centers and its regional offices. The Secretary must also improve how these centers and offices coordinate with each other, and, where it makes sense, coordinate their work with the Center* and other relevant groups.
To improve the use of existing Service* resources, the Secretary* shall fully utilize and further develop the Service preservation* (including conservation) centers and regional offices. The Secretary shall improve the coordination of the centers and offices within the Service, and shall, where appropriate, coordinate their activities with the Center* and with other appropriate parties.
