submitted 32 years ago by Pub. L. 103-337 to r/title-10-ARMED-FORCES · 136 words · no verdicts yet

in plain englishAI-generated · not legal advice

Each military branch keeps one list of its reserve officers who are on active status. This list leaves out active-duty-list officers and warrant officers. The Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps each get their own separate lists.

(a) The Secretary of each military department must keep one list, called the "reserve active-status list," for each armed force it oversees. The list names every reserve officer of that armed force who is in an active status. It leaves out two groups: officers already on the separate active-duty list described in section 620, and warrant officers, including commissioned warrant officers. (b) The Army's reserve active-status list covers officers in both the Army Reserve and the Army National Guard of the United States. The Air Force's list covers officers in both the Air Force Reserve and the Air National Guard of the United States. The Secretary of the Navy must keep two separate lists: one for the Navy Reserve and one for the Marine Corps Reserve.
