10 U.S.C. § 500c — Annual assessment of budget with respect to electromagnetic spectrum operations capabilities

At the same time the President submits the federal budget to Congress, for each of fiscal years 2025 through 2029, the Secretary of Defense must send the congressional defense committees an assessment prepared by the Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Executive Committee. The assessment must say whether the budget requests enough money for that year's expected activities in each of these three areas: (1) Developing an electromagnetic battle management capability for joint electromagnetic spectrum operations. (2) Setting up and running joint electromagnetic spectrum operations cells. (3) Developing a capability to model and simulate multi-domain joint electromagnetic spectrum operations, in order to (A) judge whether the joint force can carry out these operations to support combatant commands' operational plans, and (B) improve those operations.
